Our client is an established conglomerate with a huge global footprint
and known for being a high-performance and people-focused
organization. Their Indonesia business is experiencing phenomenal
growth and a need has arisen for a HR Director to provide effective HR
support and helm their HR function there.
Based in Singapore and reporting to the Business Head and Corporate HR
Director, your role includes formulating the company regulations for
the business unit based in Indonesia and ensuring that organizational
development, recruitment, development management, reward alignment
policies are in line with the corporate HR guidelines and strategies.
You will drive the HR Function for the Indonesia business and manage
day to day administrative and operational activities including
recruitment, manpower planning, performance management, training and
development and employee relations. You will be leading the local team
in Indonesia in terms of strategies, processes, change management etc
and working closely with senior business leaders within the Group.
Frequent travel to Indonesia is required.
Degree qualified ideally in HR, you possess at least 15 years
experience in the full spectrum of HR, with senior HR management
experience ideally in resources, shipping, or industrial logistics
industries. Prior experience in a start-up environment will be a
bonus. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia is essential,
as is a good understanding of the general business environment and
labour market in Indonesia. You will demonstrate a strong consultative
approach and have previous experience working closely with the top
level of management. In addition, you must have a 'hands-on' and
results driven approach. An energetic, flexible approach is required,
together with exceptional interpersonal skills.
